We believe God is calling His people to reclaim & redeem true discipleship…for the western church to get back to accomplishing that which was modeled for us in Scripture (Acts 2:42-47). Returning to a first century model, for us, means a few things. We believe that our time spent together weekly is for us…the believer. That might sound a bit selfish at the exclusion of emphasizing those that are yet to be reached…it’s not meant to. With a focus and emphasis on one that aims to fill and encourage one another so that we are the ones that carry the gospel back into the world.
We are Gospel-centered…that means that we preach Christ and Him crucified. We desire that all believers go back into the world carrying with them the gospel, the responsibility for sharing it, and the knowledge on how and what to share depending on their audience.
